Charlotte

Domestic Short Hair - calico

Medium • Adult • Female • Cat

CHARLOTTE, a beautiful, plucky, adventurous calico, is a natural-born leader and "explorer". She was the first to organize a "breakout" of their temporary surroundings to lead her brother, ANDY, and shy sister, STELLA on an adventure into the closet ... 3 times! In short, CHARLOTTE is the "Norma Rae" of the group.

She is an independent but loving fearless leader that be a would delightful addition to welcome into someone's home and heart(s). Would do best in an adult home preferably with no dogs. While she is affectionate on her own terms, she is not a lap cat.

She and her siblings were rescued from an at-risk situation by a kind workman and his wife, longtime supporters of FFF, who took loving care of them until FFF could take over. It was with heavy hearts that they gave them up for adoption.

While she has been in a foster home with multiple cats, she prefers being an only cat and someone's darling. She does have a unique way of demanding your attention by sitting back on her haunches and waving both paws at you just like a dog begging for a treat?!

She is current on her FVRCP shot, combo tested negative for Feline AIDS and leukemia, and is neutered.

She enjoys a safe, enclosed outdoor space to explore. Because of her activity level and familiarity with the enclosed outdoor experience, she will need to have an ENCLOSED outdoor catio.

More about Charlotte

Because of her independent nature, she could adjust to being an only cat. She has been raised in an adult only household. It is unclear how she would adapt to a family setting or dogs. However, that would be determined on a case by case basis. It is for this reason that we have a trial visit period as part of our adoption process protocol.
